Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messenger of Islam, chosen by Allah (God) to deliver His last revelation, the Quran. Born in Makkah in 570 CE, he led a life of honesty, humility, and compassion that inspires billions today.

His Early Life

Orphaned at a young age, he was raised by his grandfather and later his uncle, Abu Talib. Despite growing up without parents, he was known for his good character, honesty, and kindness. As a young man, he worked as a merchant and earned the nickname Al-Ameen (the Trustworthy) because of his truthfulness and reliability.

The Revelation

At the age of 40, while meditating in the Cave of Hira, Muhammad (PBUH) received his first revelation from Allah (God) through the angel Jibreel (Gabriel). This moment marked the beginning of his prophethood and his mission to spread the message of Islam. The revelations, which continued over 23 years, were later compiled into the Quran. His message was simple yet profound: worship one God, live righteously, and treat all people with fairness and compassion.

His Message of Peace and Justice

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) called for the worship of one God alone and emphasized the importance of morality, justice, and kindness in daily life. He taught that all humans are equal, regardless of race, wealth, or social standing, and that true greatness lies in righteousness and good deeds. He advocated for the rights of women, the poor, and the oppressed, bringing significant reforms to a deeply divided society.

His Character and Legacy

Known for his mercy and patience, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) set an example for all humanity through his actions. He forgave those who opposed him, treated his enemies with kindness, and supported the needy. His teachings established values of compassion, honesty, and service to others. His famous saying, “The best among you are those who are most beneficial to others,” highlights his focus on building a society rooted in care and selflessness.
