Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final messenger of Islam, chosen by Allah (God) to deliver His last revelation, the Quran. Born in Makkah in 570 CE, he led a life of honesty, humility, and compassion that inspires billions today.
His Early Life
Orphaned at a young age, he was raised by his grandfather and later his uncle, Abu Talib. Despite growing up without parents, he was known for his good character, honesty, and kindness. As a young man, he worked as a merchant and earned the nickname Al-Ameen (the Trustworthy) because of his truthfulness and reliability.
The Revelation
At the age of 40, while meditating in the Cave of Hira, Muhammad (PBUH) received his first revelation from Allah (God) through the angel Jibreel (Gabriel). This moment marked the beginning of his prophethood and his mission to spread the message of Islam. The revelations, which continued over 23 years, were later compiled into the Quran.
